This one-day course is for all contractors, including subcontractors, main contractors and principal contractors. You will learn about contractor responsibilities under the Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulations 2015.

Course content

The course includes:

  • CDM 2015 overview and application

  • Planning, managing and monitoring construction work

  • Duty-holder responsibilities

  • Conducting skill and resource assessments

  • Following CDM Part 4 ‘General requirements for all construction sites’

  • What to include in the construction phase plan and its requirements

  • Engaging workers

  • Health and safety requirements.
